I see a clue is needed...

The Munro we're climbing is usually linked with several other tops, but we decided to take a less popular approach from the east, up the corrie in question.

It is indeed. The less popular route up Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair, one of the Fisherfield Munros. Famous for the giant pavement of slabs on the lower slopes, but rarely climbed.

I kind of feel like I cheated since I had read your walk report and recognised the similar photos - the scenery looks amazing and we're hoping to try that route ourselves sometime!
