Clue - The peak above this Corrie is not a Corbett but is of Corbett height.

The Corrie on the other side of the peak above is infamous.

In the foreground centre and on the right are some well known rock climbing routes.

Dearg Choirean, on Arran? The rock climbs you mentioned would be on the Rosa Slabs?...

Thanks Chris Mac and Mal Grey!

What is this corrie? (Just say where it is - curiously it is not named on the OS 1:25000, although its stream and the bealach at its head are.)

I'll try another guess, that definitely looks like Ben Lui and Beinn a' Chleibh in the background, are you on Meall Copagach, walking towards Beini Lurachan, so the unnamed Coire would perhaps be Coire Dhoireann, named after the Lochan, Allt and Bealach?

You are very close!

I must admit I had never heard of Meall Copagach, I have looked it up just now and I remember seeing that ridge on a map and thinking it looked interesting, but I never went there. Maybe one day...

But this photo is somewhere much more obvious. Perhaps the corrie does have a name - but it isn't marked on the 1:25000 map!

After triangulating another guess, are you at Lairig Ianachain, above the Allt Lairig Ianachain and on the left is the summit of Beinn Eunaich? Coire Lairig Ianachain would be the logical Corrie name?

I need to get up those hills!

Spot on - and well worked out from the outlines of Ben Lui and Beinn a' Chleibh in the distance.

Over to you!

It is odd that this large corrie is not named on the 1:25000 map, there is probably a local name for it. I used it when descending Beinn a'Chochuill, and both up and down for Beinn Eunaich - it's a very easy way onto the ridge. It has this rather unusual feature in it -

Clue - this rocky, curved corrie changes to another named corrie lower down that shares its name with the burn heading downhill. Several Munros are around me and in the background.
