I didn't know about Loch Coire an Lochain, despite having been up Braeriach. I should go back, to do some subsidiary tops.
I googled the loch and there's a page about someone that's dived in to the loch, with a frog-man suit. The water's profoundly blue and clear. Fascinating stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Kind of what I was banking on, as I've only seen it mentioned a couple of times in the dozens of reports on here. Went very quickly though . Was the dive report on here? There were a couple a few years back, I seem to remember.

Don't want to distract from Mamoset's picture but here's a couple of links I've found, re frogman.

I'd like to get the right answer to one of these pictures because I'm sure there'll be a couple of belters I can pick out, to use as a picture. Might need to pick a real obscure Loch/Corrie

You'll need to be quick though! This is Coire Cas-eagallach dropping into Loch Loch at the north end of Bheinn a' Ghlo. Much like the last one, I recognised it but had no idea what it was called without the map .
