A good guess but no, correct general area but wrong hill and corrie.

Is the hill Beinn Ime?

If so it has some good winter climbing on it but I've always know the crag as "The East Face of Beinn Ime" rather than by the name of the coire.

I think the hill in the foreground is A'Chrois and the one in the background is Ben Vane. I recognised the scene from when i was descending Ben Lomond in January - the distant right-hand part of this photo

That would make the corrie Coire nan Each (I did not know that and had to check the map to find out!)

No guesses yet so time for a clue.

As well as appearing a recent TR of mine, another clue is that to reach the spot where I took this photo, I crossed a valley with an odd name that is more likely to be seen in a (Gaelic) cake recipe book than among the hills!

Coire Liath on the left and Coire Gorm on the right, inbetween Meall Corranaich and Meall a' Choire Leith. Gleann Da-Eig is the cooking reference!

Thanks, the rock is quite distinctive and I once had a, lets be charitable and say, memorable day scrambling on Number 3 Buttress in the rain.

Name the coire on the left:

Perhaps time for a clue:

We are on a munro, the top of which is just out of shot, and the corrie would more usually be seen from the opposite side.

Oh, and the corrie it isn't named on the 1:50k OS; however the eponymous small loch(an) and burn which flows out of it are.

I wondered about this when it first appeared, but it is not a route I've done, so a bit of a random guess.

However my wild guess does fits I think with the clue... so I'll have a go - are the corrie and lochan called Toll an Lochain? - south of Loch a' Bhraoin off the A832?
