Where is this one then? Head of corrie, to the right, is below a subsidiary summit of a Munro.

As you leave the corrie, this is the view back over the top of the buttresses in the first photo.

Opposite and below the cliffs in the first photo, is a large, unusual, sloping feature.

Like an enormous waterfall, for instance?

The feature(s) I'm thinking of isn't a waterfall, but there is a series of them alongside. I guess if its rained a lot, the whole thing will be running with water!

Coire Gorm below Sgurr Dubh, on the east side of Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair?

Yep, that's the spot, with the remarkable huge slabs being the sloping feature.

Thanks Mal Grey! I’ve only seen the corrie from below, from the path down to Loch an Nid. I guessed it from the distant outline of the Fannaichs in the second photo.

Name either the right or left hand corrie.

Clue - one of the corries has a much longer name then the other...

Another clue - I am on my way to a Munro, but this is not on the WH route. The summit ahead is not a Munro, but there are Munros along the ridge either side of it.

I'll have a guess: Could this be looking south to Meall nan Tri Tighearnan on the ridge between Ben Starav and Glas Bheinn Mhor? If that is correct, then the corrie on the left would be Coire Dubh (a short name) and the corrie on the right Coire Lochain Ghaineamhaich (a fairly long name)?

Thanks!
Unfortunately I don't have that many photographs of corries, and none of them very good!
But here's one anyway...quite heavily cropped from the original...

Clue: The corrie is in the upper reaches of a corbett, the summit of which is at the right. The photograph was taken from another corbett

Further clue: Same photo, but now with less of a crop...

More clues: The corbett on which the corrie is situated is remote in a way, though it can be done in a day without staying locally through the use of a scheduled ferry
And here is the original picture with no cropping. The corrie becomes rather lost so I've pointed it out with an arrow and the word 'Here'!
