What is the name of either the lochan in the foreground or the loch in the middle distance ?

That clue was useful.

I reckon it's Lochan Dubh, Craigellachie National Nature Reserve and we are looking towards Loch Alvie which means the far loch must be Loch Insh.

No, that was a decent challenge. But there were still plenty of clues - non-tidal shoreline, granite-type rocks and lots of heather all point to the Cairngorms, and there aren't too many candidates of that size.....
