Oops sorry been away for the weekend. Clues for both this photo and the other one (name that Corrie) are Pub related, hooray.

The Corrie photo was taken from the car park of a pub

The Loch photo was taken from near a good level track that leads to a pub in about 1km or less

Both pubs are well-known and right alongside major A roads. Both road numbers begin with A8 and the last digits of each road number are only one digit different.

An extra clue - the "loch" and the "corrie" photos each have hills in the background. In both photos, those hills are part of a chain of mountains, both of which offer well-known "classic" multi-summit ridge walks.

North of Fort William
South of Ullapool

On the basis that the rock looks Torridonian then I'm looking at Loch a Bhealaich.

That one threw me for a while as the terrain didn't seem to match the rock type. Google 3D view helped.

This one is probably well known.

Hahaha! I was going to say Loch a' Bhealaich, but meaning the one under Sgurr Ghaorsaic. Your clue that most people view it from the other end put me off as it looked vaguely similar to the Kintail one viewed normally..
