I've seen that view, hence my guess of Rannoch.

But I'm 90% it's Fruechie and Mhuilinn...I'm pretty sure windfarm is Griffon

Could this be the unnamed (on OS 1:25000) reservoir on the Keltie Water / Allt a'Chroin, in Gleann a'Chroin, a few miles north of Callander?

Thanks!

I found Arivurichardich to be a beautiful but slightly melancholy spot - it was clearly once a busy farm - https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=110519

What is this loch?

Clue - I'm looking west / south west.

The view south east from the same spot has decorated the lids of many chocolate boxes over the years!

Not there - but I could to the south-east see a very pointy mountain, quite similar to Beinn Dorain.

The hill I could see always features in the chocolate box pictures...
