If it's islands you want, I'll go for Loch Maree

Yay! Taken from an unusual viewpoint, Inchlonaig, an island off Luss, with a fish-eye lens.

Thanks, I thought it might be Beinn Dubh behind Luss and knew there would be islands on the left from that angle.

Name this loch:

Looks like you had striven up a cnoc by a loch.

So I'd say Loch Cnoc an Loch by Scrivan on Arran.

And again, is it on an island? Is it on Lewis, near Loch Seaforth, where loads of the trees died off from some creepy tree disease leaving a weird haunted forest of standing dead trees? Only there are a few lochs there and I can't figure which one you have there, either Loch Cleit na Stiuire or the one across the road, **hurriedly rummages through on-line map**, Loch na h-Aibhne Ruaidhe?

That's it - Loch na h-Aibhne Ruaidhe.

I think the defoliation of the trees was by the caterpillar of the pine looper moth.

OK, so you don't see much of the loch here but you can see some hills in the distance which gives a clue. Nice place to be an ox, no traffic, no people, no pollution, no noise. Lots of vegetation and clean water...
