I can understand your thinking - but not within 2.5km of Beinn Stacath

Clue - I was coming down from a Munro which both BV and ancancha have been up - but my descent route was different to the more frequent way.

I've had a good look around, but the only one that comes close starts with a E perhaps some of the trees are cut down now, and the mountain in the background doesn't look plausible

If letter refers to the name of the loch, you're correct.....just need to name it now .....my descent was via Ben Our and Sron Mhór............

That's a very interesting route down from C
Was under the impression that the photo was looking North so was on the other side of the Loch
That would be an 18km hike just coming back must have been a grand day oot if I have the jist of it an explorers day

it is looking north - not sure what you mean by C ?
