I'd already written off Loch Hope and glossed over Meadie as I hadn't noticed it had an island. Your clue put me back on track.

It took me a while, but I suddenly realised why the view felt so familiar. Glances out of the car window whilst driving along the A82 over the last 30 years!

Clue time.

The river shown here, flowing into this loch, is less than a mile long, and links two lochs which could be described as long and thin.
