I'd say we are not in the far north here.

Not Loch Lomond but not far away.

Cheers. To be honest, having been there a couple of times, I got your "pun" immediately, having used it myself for a canoeing blog I think!

OK, this smaller loch is at the head of, and linked to, a much bigger loch? Either will do.

Immediately I saw this it reminded me of Loch Langabhat on Harris but its not so I am going to go for a near by loch which I haven't seen, Loch Leatha , at the head of Loch Reasort

Nope, not on Harris, I'm afraid, or Lewis for that matter.

Assynt is very recognizable by its rocks, so I only had to look at the lochs in that area.
So I think we are at Loch Beag, connected to Loch Glencoul here.
Have you been visiting the waterfall?

Yes indeed, to both the correct ID and the waterfall visit, though we "cheated" and canoed in. (https://www.wildernessisastateofmind.co.uk/blog/the-glen-at-the-back-of-beyond-loch-glencoul & trip report: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=80193)

Over to you.

That is not cheating, I have used "The Statesman" back, when it still ran.
