Walkhighlands

No bites yet. I am going to be away for a few days (hopefully off grid too) so just to narrow the area down a bit and give you something to think about, this photo was taken north of Inverness. I suspect a fair number of you will have passed it on your way to a popular location but will not have seen it from this side.

My original thought was Loch a Mhuillin on the Sandwood Bay path, but I got distracted and forgot.

Sorry for the slow reply. I replied to your post om "Where's the picture" then managed, on a poor internet connection, to sign out of Walkhighlands and couldn't remember my password to get back in until now.

I know the feeling. As you are so close I am going to give it to you. You were on the right path but it is Loch na Gainimh, a little before you get to Loch a Mhuillin.

The lochan in Coire an Lochan whose name may or not be Lochan Coire an Lochan as its not actually labelled on my map. Anyway, between Sgur Eilde Mor and Beag.

ye that's the place, ah yes it's wrote in black and not blue, as depicting water would be.
