Clue - there's a corbett and a munro to either side behind me and part of a munro in the photo

Correct I was coming down from Fuar Tholl - the river was very deep after the loch making for a very difficult crossing on the ascent which I wanted to miss on the way down so detoured round the top of the loch. Over to you

Cheers, i've not been up Beinn Bheula yet but was sure that was Beinn Ime sticking up in the middle and the others hills seemed familiar but not from an angle I recognised, so I checked and can even find where you took the photo from, just past Beinn Bhreac on the way up to Caisteal Dubh, or thereabouts. At first I thought Beinn Lochan was Beinn a' Chroin as they look quite similar.

Which Loch is this:

Clue: the Loch shares its name with a nearby summit.

There is also a Corbett in the photo.

Clue: This is on an island.

Based on the clues rather than the photo - as it is a LONG time since I've been there!

But I remember there was a small loch south of Beinn Nuis. I have just checked its name on the map and it is called Loch Nuis - so I'll try that!
