It is indeed. After I had posted it I tried googling Scottish Monument Indian and it came up first one, so I rather wished I had given a different clue, but at least it took you almost a day to get it, and it had over 200 views, so it can't have been that easy.

Interesting concept. Impoverish the locals by evicting them then employ them to build a somewhat ridiculous and certainly useless grand gesture on a hill.

However, KH is considered by some to be the location of MG. I've omitted the prefacing noun from the latter as it would make it too easy.

Thanks for letting me get away with a missing P. Some Freudian connection to the title of this thread possibly.

Certain events might not have happened at MC had global warming arrived earlier on the scene.

Excellent. They were found (allegedly) by their footprints in the snow. (The ungodly time at the top of this post is because I got up to see the students rush into the sea at dawn on May Day)
