Can I have a 'P' please Bob - Scotland

I am toying with Drovers Road and Wade's Road (Wade's Aberfeldy Road? Wade's A???? Road) I don't suppose I'm right, but it may elicit a clue of sorts

Not there, Sgurr, but a good probing starter, you need to think Caledonian on this one, and keep hold of the road.

Absolutely right Sgurr, the site of the old Dalry Road Engine Shed, originally Caledonian Railway pre the 1923 Grouping and 64C (that was going to be the next clue) with British Railways, now forms part of the West Approach Road.
Well done on getting this with such scanty information. Over to you.

Incidentally a former colleague and friend, now sadly deceased, started work there in the early 1960s and had great tales of working as a fireman on Black Fives down to Carlisle in the last few years of steam.

Nope. I tried to change birthplace to cradle at the last minute, but it had gone past editing time.

Not Summer of Love...but sort of on the right wave-length and around a couple of decades later

Yes, and the 500 miles prompted (allegedly) the naming of The Northern 500. Your turn gld73

Didn't know the song had inspired the naming of the North Coast 500! A non-musical one now though :

The GPMoS (aka MS) is at BC rather than in eastern Europe
