If I went to the BC today, I don't know if I would be more terrified or shocked if I met a PB

Oh no! I've made my annual mistake of getting excited that I know one! But the bones caves walk is a family favourite, and great for wild strawberries at the right time of year.

Anyway. I have thought of one, hope it's not too close to what has gone before.

If you're interested in the BRL, then you need to visit A.

Bass Rock Lighthouse from Arbroath? You can see it from our house too, I just hope the wind farms won't ruin it. There is a line at the back door of the cathedral which points to it and another pointing to the position of the sun rise on the longest day. When I went to photo the sun rise, I met a teacher who told her class that's where she would be on the longest day at dawn, and one of her pupils said her great great grandad had made the mark.

Bass Rock, Bell Rock close enough for me. The museum in Arbroath is excellent and I think it's free too! We were in Arbroath visiting today and could see it except when the oil platform was going past!

I can't quite see the Bell Rock lighthouse from my abode but just up the hill (1/2 mile in old money), its flash is visible at night. If I am coming home that way and the visibility is good, I wait until I see it.

Not only is the museum at Arbroath good ( and free I think, maybe wrong) but the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses at Fraserburgh is excellent (although they have got rid of the Tod Head Lighthouse room - a special favourite of mine- to make way for other stuff) as is the Fraserburgh Heritage Museum next door.

I think I need a commission from the Visit Aberdeenshire brigade, the amount I plug it through this forum.

Back to the quiz...

Sorry, just back from 5 nights in the Lakes with intermittent wi-fi. Where is everyone else?

On the Watershed and entertaining family with an intermittent brain in between. Still no closer to solving this.
