Think e watched the whole series but can't think what PK is

Correct on Ben Nevis, PK may not feature in the TV series which I didn't see much of. A questionably acceptable way for a non-native to blend (?) into Highland society.

It must surely be a purple kilt?

I'd say the book is better too...

It is! You've nicked it! Thought it would go much quicker. I prefer the books too, but I really haven't seen much of the TV series.
Your go.

SC probably doesn't see much S these days, despite being up the glen from the roughest of a group of four.

Thanks. Impressive in itself, the GMT gives its name to an oft visited area.

The morning clue. Named for its similarity to a T.

Now the last clue makes me uncertain about going for the Great Moine Thrust. Is it? Feel rusty after a fortnight's walking when I forgot my password and couldn't get back on the site ....at least with my phone.

Afraid not. Always surprises me how many features turn up with the same initials, though I don't recall the Moine Thrust being prefaced with great. Much more southerly anyway.

Some say, maybe tunefully, "...she ain't what she used to be...", exercising some artistic licence in the spelling of the G word.

Thanks for the clue, the Grey Mare's Tail, I'll go for the one in the Moffat Hills, the outlet for Loch Skeen and the Tail Burn.
