On the wrong track , Sgurr, not a parlour or a cottage. A couple of geological features here, cough, cough, CoF.

The clue above refers to a hill. Then you should just need a 1:25000 map.

Yes, that's right, McClave's Pantry on Cairnsmore of Fleet, and BMC is Billy Marshall's Cave about a km to the north.

Over to you Charles.

Think I stole that one from Sgurr, but here goes. Now it's the silly season.

A PK caused some consternation to the conservative K but got the nod of approval from BN.

Time for a clue. The source of this question shares its name with an iconic depiction of Scottish wildlife.

Haven't a clue about the rest of it, but I'm guessing the middle K is Kirk??

The most iconic depiction of scottish wildlife I can think of is Landseer's Monarch of the Glen, but can't see how that would link in :(

Not Kirk. Keep thinking, you're on the right track.

Clue time again.

Pursuit of the Muckle Hart provides an amusing interlude.

Another clue then.
The wearer of the PK was neither old nor of the correct gender to fit the oft quoted line, yet the intentions were similar.

No takers? Let's make it easier then. We are in a fictional but apposite depiction of a Scotland that was not that long ago.

This is dragging on a bit. Many prefer the screen version, personally my preference is for the book.
