Sorry, P is not palace. However, the items are buildings in a broad sense. There's a sporting connection.

Are they defunct football grounds

Muirton Park, Love Street and maybe Douglas Park.

Courtesy of Wikipedia as I know naught of football and less than naught of Scottish football.

Yes, they are all former grounds of current SPL teams - St. Johnstone, St. Mirren and Hamilton Accies.

Over to you, Charles.

SC might better be written StC. That ought to do it.

It is, the Pictish King was Bridei mac Maelchon. Guess I gave it to you with St Columba.
Your go.

Sorry I’ve been surprisingly busy at work last few days....

This one is bit like the one above in that one tiny extra letter might make it easier. But for a challenge here it it without the letter, I’ll add it after a day or so if no one gets it

What’s the connection? -

CS, ST

TP, BC

SJ, not BC

No, I’m afraid it isn’t “o”. A clue - this one is very much about the Highlands and Islands

No other guesses yet, so I’ll add in the little letter.

CS, ST

TP, BnC

SJ, not BnC

What do these three have in common?

A further clue. CS and SJ are extremely famous, not only in Scotland but across the UK. SJ featured in an episode of Blackadder.

TP is less famous but is (in my view) every bit as interesting.
