Yes.
M is
Messerschmitt, in Hess's case a Bf110, and on the Blue Oyster Cult album, a 262 - the world's first production jet aircraft. I often think that the overall design of jet aeroplanes has changed surprisingly little since the 262.
Hess landed in
Eaglesham, and you are right about Floors Farm, although I was thinking about his reputed stay in
Fersit, on the
Old
Puggy
Line, and the start of routes up the Loch Treig munros. A house there was (allegedly) used as an SO interrogation centre. Officially he was never there, and stayed for most of the war in Monmouthshire, where the locals nicknamed him "the Kaiser of Abergavenny".
The Duke of Hamilton, who I didn't mention, was also an interesting figure in aviation - one of the first people to fly over Everest. I also mentioned two
AHs - when arrested in Eaglesham, Hess said his name was
Albrecht
Horn. Hess had in the past edited Mein Kampf (my struggle) by
Adolf
Hitler.
Over to you!
