MM had a son known as B-C, considered to be a D on account of his dim-wittedness.

MM is also uncommonly hairy and of diminutive stature.

JE was an E, numbered E by G.

Different numbers were given by other sources.

JE was also known as BJ, and was said to have drunk from the PB.

An extra little clue... If JE did drink from the PB, he and anyone who was with him may well have all said the same phrase - "TTLGITBVW"

With all these clues flying around, you would think it should be easy. But it's not. Is B a beaker?

B isn't a beaker, but is very like one - usually, a different shape. There is a photo of the PB on this website.

I'm sure JE would have thanked the Lord for vintage wine! But he would have had a glass of water on the table too...

By the way, the subject of the phrase "TTLGITBVW", never visited Scotland at all, and spent their lifetime in a park alongside the river Thames, totally unaware that they had changed history.
