Ay, ay - it's the village of Ae. Founded in 1947 to house forestry workers.

Aye Charles, it's Ae.

It was the first forest village to be established by the Forestry Commission in Scotland and was on a site not settled before, making it one of the newest villages in Scotland.

Scotland has been good at establishing New Towns in the post war era, but there have been very few new villages, the only other I know of is Cardrona.
