Can I have a 'P' please Bob - Scotland

I don't think I deserve that as I totally missed the RSC bit even though I had been reading about it all day and knew it was a recumbent stone circle (d'oh), but given I never get these I'm going to grab it before anyone shouts foul!

If BR is attributed ( a bit controversially) to RS, who can CF be attributed to.

Well, I have the first two, but CF has me stumped. Won't give them in case someone else has all three.

If you have the first 2 then the 3rd is of the same ilk but is a bit of a square peg as opposed to a round...

Found it! Carraig Fhada, Islay. The others are Bell Rock and Robert Stevenson, who had to put up with John Rennie interfering.

To add to the amusement:

My father was the keeper of the Bell Rock Light
And he married a mermaid one dark night
And from this union there came three
A codling and a kipper and the other was me

Boom, boom.

I was thinking 'Cromarty Firth' for CF, although its title is simply 'Cromarty', so I wasn't sure. It's an Alan Stevenson creation.

Yes and well done, over to you Charles.
For information because I can go on a bit about Scottish Lighthouses...
Carraig Fhada was (unusually) not a Stevenson lighthouse, the majority of Scotland's and the Isle of Man lighthouses being commissioned by the Commissioners of Northern Light Houses, now the Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) and 4 generations of Stevenson family being engineers for the Commissioners and the NLB . Carraig Fhada was commissioned by Walter Frederick Campbell (the Laird of Islay) in memory of his wife who died aged 36. The design of 2 square towers was by the firm David Hamilton and Son. The NLB took over the running of Carraig Fhada in 1924. It certainly is different from the other Scottish Lights. Each of the Stevenson lights have their own markers according to which Stevnson designed them. ( Robert, Alan, Thomas, David, David Alan or Charles).
I have a very personal interest in lighthouses and when I am not climbing hills, I am usually very close (if not in) a lighthouse.
I think I prefer the poem above the door on Carraig Fhada to Charles' ditty!

Thanks Rohan. I needed the clue.

The BB were discovered at the oldest stronghold of its type, mostly destroyed by the building of the eponymous town.

The modern town is also the site of a fiery event .

Would that be the Burghead Bulls at Burghead. Moray. The fiery festival being the burning of the Clavie on the 11th January each year and the town being built in the site of what is thought to be the oldest and largest) Pictish Fort.

Correct, I knew at the time that my second clue was making it too easy. :(

Your go.

I need easy clues but as I was posting my answer, I could visualise Sgurr typing away and thought she would get there first! You may find this too easy from the start.

Hahaha, I had to look that up being a total non-player when it comes to video games. Your answer may actually be closer than you would think.
