Can I have a 'P' please Bob - Scotland

Correct...trying to get in references that aren't things. Well done. Just came onto the site to say C made C, and lo and behold you got it with no further need for references.

Is that your answer or a request? If latter, I totally endorse your request. If former you are too clever by half.

Both. I actually looked in the Gaelic Dictionary to see if either "this" or "begins" starts with a "C". Then I realised that "Commences" begins with a "C", but that is far too "Convoluted", so I will just settle for "Clever" or was that rohan's answer??????

If this is the question, in Gaelic the "question" is "cheist"

Can't put the initials for 'this' as it would probably give the game away.

After C comes L.

Ah, no, I'm not spelling out a word. C and L are two parts of 'this'. There are three more parts to come, and if it's still unsolved I'll give the initials of 'this'.

In the dark I'm afraid, and considerably far away.

Just to clarify we're not barking up the wrong tree; we're looking for a collection of 5 items/things/places, the collective name for which you're not giving us because it is too obvious, but of which the first two items/things/places start with a C and an L respectively?

Yes. Or it could end with L and C, depending on how you approach it.

The White Mounth has 5 Munros but they would start and finish with L & C(a'CB) not C & L depending on which way round you approach them, so I guess not. I'm just throwing it into the mix to see what comes out..

No, you're also a fair distance out, but not as far as Tinto63 was. I'll throw out a third letter-clue later on.
