Probably wrong, Leamington Bridge (Leamington Lift Bridge) has Two Towers, one at each end.

Excellent! Quick and wholly correct.   Your go.

Thanks Charles, I was a bit lucky with this one, by coincidence we lunched at the eponymously named Goblin Ha' Hotel in Gifford on Saturday, and while I knew a little about Yester Castle and Sir Hugo's necromancy, I did a little more digging into the history after we got home. :D

Now try a bit more recent history: There are TT at LB.

Is B a geographical feature? Beach, bay?

Not there

Getting warmer, it is a beach, but the location is not usually known as a beach, think of the vegetation above the tideline.

Are TT tank traps and LB possibly Longniddry Beach?

TT are indeed tank traps and Longniddry Beach is technically correct, but is locally known as Longniddry Bents, hence my reference to the vegetation. There are still dozens of tank traps on the beach and nearby in various states of deterioration.

Over to you.

Many thanks, unaware of the Bents name. More brain clutter.

TGB has a unique function.

And a very useful one, as we are on an island.

You aren't thinking into the future and suggesting The Galloway Bridge, are you?

Does Barra Airport (the one where you land on the beach) have another name?

Yes, it's on The Great Beach, An Traigh Mhor in Gaelic. A Google search would have given you that, but you've identified the location, so your go now.

My Google skills are obviously poor. I did a search and got Traigh Mhor which I, embarrassing, failed to translate!

This is my first attempt at one of these so hopefully it's neither too easy nor too obscure...

TP could lead in more ways than one.
