ST links a fascist dictator, one or more presidents, a sporting event held in Glasgow and a board game.

ST formerly known as AT.

It's no use Glengavel. I am feeling particularly thick this week. Any chance of another clue?

It must be staring us in the face.
Aberdeen something as opposed to Scottish something, not thistle, tablet, train, television...? I am away to ponder while I do my daily exercise and beach clean. I'm sure Sgurr will have it by the time I come back.

I can't really suss this out, but here are some very tenuous links.

Trump is a board game about the thing that currently occupies the White House. Trump claims Scottish ancestry in his family tree. The former fascist dictator of Argentina, Juan Peron, also supposedly had Scottish ancestry. In 1967, the Intercontinental Club Cup was played between Celtic and Racing Club de Avellaneda (usually known as Racing) of Buenos Aries, whose ground is the Estadio Juan Peron. Celtic won the first leg at Hampden 1-0 on 18th October 1967. (The second leg in Buenos Aries on 1st November was won by Racing 2-1. As the away goals rule did not apply, a third match was played in Montevideo 3 days later. This became known as the Battle of Montevideo as 6 players were sent off, though Bertie Auld managed to avoid leaving the field. Racing won the game 1-0).

Was the Scottish Trump golf course at Aberdeen formerly known as Aberdeen Trump?

If this isn't correct, then at least I've managed to learn about an epic football tie.

Vuirich, you're barking up the wrong tree I'm afraid.

I'll try this then.

The Scottish Terrier used to be known as the Aberdeen Terrier. Eva Braun, Franklin D Roosevelt and George W Bush owned Scottish Terriers, and a Scottish Terrier is a piece used in Monopoly.

We have a winner. Scottish Terriers also led the competitors' parade during the opening ceremony of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. At least one obstinate wee b*****r refused to walk and had to be carried.

Sadly, their popularity is waning:

Thanks, Glengavel.

What do DP, LS and MP have in common?
