I re-found my love for the hills again this year after a 15 year break. A new hobby, photography, got me back out exploring again.

This was the trip that confirmed it was back for good, a winter wild camp on Beinn a'Chrulaiste February 2016. Couldn't have wished for better conditions, tons of snow and clear night to show off Glencoe in the light of the full moon. :D

Certainly not a technically good photo but one of my best memories. Sunrise on Slioch, the final hill of my first (and only ?) munro round, having camped out overnight at the summit - cheers :)

This is a bitter-sweet one. It confirms, if we ever needed to know, why we will never complete the Marilyns, close as we might otherwise get. The St. Kilda sea stacks are now beyond our capabilities...let's face it, they were always beyond our capabilities. So this is Stac Lee, and farewell to St. Kilda after an amazing day fending off bonxies and sea-sickness to climb Conachair

Taken on my most spectacular day in the hills, blanket of cloud on one side and totally clear on the other. Ben more and stob binnein acting as a damn in between.
Never seen anything like it and probably won't again, this is looking south from stob binnein :D

My favourite shot from the best trip I've ever done: midnight sun from a previously unclimbed peak in East Greenland.
