First two of a finite list. More examples to be added at irregular intervals.

You have one out of two, and you are on the right lines.

Brimmond Hill in Aberdeen.... guess who had been thinking along these lines as a future question. I was wondering about Gavock Hill in Dunfermline but there is a higher point at the trig point near Kingseat Hill.

All three clues have been answered but what is the connection? DH in F is next.

I did mention highest point in my first answer in that they are the highest points in their respective council areas ie Glasgow, Dundee , Aberdeen. Now I am away to check DH and F to see what I have missed in the connection.

Darrach Hill is the highest point in the Falkirk Council area but I am clearly missing another connection.

Yes, you've got the link. Highest point in council areas, in order of increasing height.

I made heavy weather of that having spotted what it was about. Brimmond Hill is within Aberdeen City Council and whilst I am fortunate to live in the 'Shire, I know that hill walking friends in Aberdeen are visiting it more than usual in these lockdown times. My own version was to have used council areas with the same starting letter but not now.

Instead try SM was the first with an AB.

A flying start from Sgurr has produced one correct word but no other connection with the solution.
