You've got most of it right, but
AP was the Advent plainchant, Veni Veni Emmanuel, on which
JM based his composition. The premiere was given at The Albert Hall by Evelyn Glennie and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra under Jukka-Pekka Saraste. It is the most performed modern concerto.
