Halterburn circuit & the Schil walk - no GPS positions

Halterburn circuit & the Schil walk - no GPS positions

Postby crawf » Sun Jul 24, 2022 2:14 pm

Hi,

Walk at https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/borders/schil.shtml

It appears that the GPX download for this walk has no GPS positions in it.
Just the initial meta data.
Viewed the downloaded file via link - https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/download.php?w=2132 in a text editor.

And no doubt related, the "View / print our online route map" fails to render any map.

May attempt this walk next week if you need a GPS file!

Thanks,
Crawford.

Thanks for letting us know, and apologies for this. Several GPX files got broken when I put the character "&" into the walk name to shorten it (for neater display on certain mobile phones). I've just gone through all areas and can't find any more affected walks, but if anyone does then let me know.

I've now fixed this. However, if you have recently viewed the map page (i.e. it's in your cache) you'll need to hard refresh on that page (Shift F5 on Chrome, delete from history on Safari)
