Loch a'Bhraoin Bothy - none availability 16-24 May

Postby Lochivaorn1 » Sun May 07, 2017 8:48 am

Many regular readers will recall seeing annual posts about the bothy at Lochivraon. This is handily placed for the Western Fannichs and also for the Munros of Fisherfield, as it is situated at the foot of Craig Reainich, at the west end of Loch a' Bhraoin.

For the last 28 years in May, Inverbroom Estate has kindly given permission for EXCLUSIVE use to parties of children who are engaged on a large Outdoor Education project. These groups will occupy the bothy between 16 to 24 May.
Sincere apologies to anyone whose plans are affected by this. Please take a tent if you are heading that way.

Best wishes,
Lochivraon

A small price to pay for free access to this excellent bothy the rest of the year. I'm sure the kids love it too, its great that they get to stay in such places.
