Given the most recent appeal for money, I just stuck in an extra direct debit for a fiver a month (I already had a smaller one set up). I would encourage any other regular WHers to do the same if they get utility from the website. It's no different from paying someone to do anything else really. I know the appeal (rightly) says there are worthier causes but it's different from charity because we're getting a service here.

Yes and as I said to a friend, it's a bargain. I was only made aware of this because a friend messaged me about it

We've had an overwhelming response to the appeal we put out by email and social media yesterday. Walkhighlands will be continuing for the foreseeable future. We're completely humbled.

UPDATE FOR WALKERS

We're simplifying the advice across Walkhighlands to walkers from several sources. We know many feel they need to get out for their physical and mental health (if not self-isolating). This advice will be across the site, replacing the current advice on our walk pages:
- Stay in your local area
- Stay safe
- Practice social distancing (keep 2m from others)
