Definitely a very good one! (I'll forgive this surveyor for demoting Fan y Big now).

Only a quarter-mile from Moel Ysgyfarnogod so I'd hope most baggers have done them together anyway, but a nice place to go back to if not...

We've now added Foel Penolau to the Hewitts on Walkhighlands, so you can get bagging and tagging 8)

Not to be a pedant, but I think you have the height wrong:
http://www.hill-bagging.co.uk/mountaindetails.php?qu=S&rf=2078

it was promoted due to a re-measurement of the drop between it and Moel Ysgyfarnogod rather than the absolute height. Anyway, you can guess who has the first report on it  .

Cheers for adding 8)

A few years ahead of me indeed, Malky, and definitely a more epic adventure to get there! It's a good half-day even the easy way in.

(To add to the pedantry, it should probably end up in the 'Arenigs & Rhinogs' group, with its neighbours, in time).

Heh! I just meant that I was the first to tag it in a report - I assumed you'd probably gone over it when working through the Hewitts, and therefore been there before me. Obviously not!

Just to note that the Hewitts main page correctly gives 316 summits and the right percentage completion from this figure, but the Hewitt-only map page states 315 summits and therefore a slightly wrong percentage figure as well.

Apologies, I think I introduced that error a couple of days ago, it should be back to 316 now.
