Stravaiging

I noticed my status has changed (without prompting) from 'mountaineer' to 'Stravaiging'. I needed to look this up. It's apparently Gaelic for 'wander about aimlessly'

A fine word indeed!

I noticed my own had change from Mountain Walker to Munro Compleatist, which I'm not. I assumed I'd somehow accidentally changed it, but maybe the system changed somehow? Anyway, I have now chosen Wanderer as it better describes my travels both by canoe and on foot, but Stravaiger would have fit quite well!

How odd - I used to be a wanderer, and I'm now a hill bagger. Which is at least half true, but still...

Me too, I was "stravaiged" unwontedly. Clueless as to what it meant I changed it back to Mountaineer, which is what I do. 🤔

The same happened to me. And I used to be Mountain Walker as well. A lot of accidental "Munro Compleatists" on the forum at the moment. I see pattern in this madness

Maybe it's all some kind of psychological experiment...

Really sorry about this. Someone asked us to add 'Stravaiging', and I reordered the options to put them in alphabetical order, since there are now quite a few.

I didn't realise that reordering them would mean that the software would change people's choices so that they fitted with the old order, but as I don't know the original order I can't really fix this :(

If you want to change your choice back to what you had before, you can do it via the 'Account settings' on the drop down menu from your username at the top. Choose the profile tab.

I won't change the order again!

This made me smile :) Gotta love technology, for a while it saved my walking up 170 odd hills to become a Compleatist, without me having to lie!

It was tempting to say that a new 5G mast had messed them all up!
