Well the first time was back in December 1991 with the Geography Dept. so here I am almost 29 years later doing it again. Went with T this time in a socially distanced fashion. Car park very busy despite it being a Monday. Thought the hill would be really busy too but in the end it was not too bad. Back in 1991 there was snow and cloud and no real view, this time there was sun and some cloud and some great views. All clear at the top of Bein Ghlas, unfortunately only fleeting glimpses over to An Stuc from top of Ben Lawers, looking south though was not too bad. These were T's 17 and 18 munros and I must say it was a much better, nicer day than when we did Cruach Ardrain last year (2019) around the same time. My thighs though are just as sore.

looking towards Ben Lawers from the top of Beinn Ghlas. It's not in cloud. Quick!

Unfortunately by the time we got there, it was in cloud. T looking down towards Lochan nan Cat.

The trig point, looking towards Kenmore

On the way down

Ben Lawers still in cloud.
