Beautiful, warm day. Started out from Inveruglas fairly early but not early enough to get in car park. Parked at side of road then followed WH route back along road and up the long ath, over the concrete bridge then took the new stepped path up the hill. Unrelenting steepness from here and loads of people out enjoying the good weather. As we moved up, more and more came down having started earlier than us. Some reporting of a party on the top. After several false summits and a couple of scrambles, made it on to summit with treendous 360 deg views - for miles, it was so clear. A mirror sharp pool on the top, and fewer people than expected (perhaps 12 - 20). After a spot of lunch and a few pics on Stephen's phone, headed back down. Tired legs, but generally OK - SB complained about his new hip not being ready for such heavy treatment, but later in week, it seemed to be in good shape. Tremendous day.
