would highly recommend this munro for anyone thinking of starting to munro bag with their kids.

some mucky bits after turning left off the path but overall a great introductory walk to munro bagging. (mines aged 10)

I was on the mountain at 6.40 last Sunday. On my descent from the top I must have passed at least 40 people going up. It was good to see so many enjoying the hill - especially young children.

As you say, Ben Chonzie's an ideal 'beginners' hill. Hope it encourages your son (or is it daughter?) to do some more.

Congratulations - hope you keep it up now you've got started :)
My younger son also started when he was 10 - Ben Chonzie was his fourth. However, other things got in the way and he didn't go up many more after that - cheers :)
