It was a tough slog up fully loaded with gear in fading light, but worth every calorie expelled! One tick off the bucket list!

Aye, I did a Narnain summit-ish camp a couple of weeks ago, "luxury loaded", by the southern route. I gets you fit I suppose...

The worst part of that route is the start to the treeline, lots of things to snag you and pretty terrible underfoot. Once you emerge from the treeline around Creag an Fhithich it gets a lot better. But that bottom section is ruddy horrible, even the ziggies are better than it.
