I was on Beinn Mhanach on the same morning (and just posted a report : https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=100868)

I was on the clock that day, but still I was very much tempted to go across and join your ridge to the SW of Meall Buidhe before going over Beinn Achaladair. From where I was, it looked straightforward enough.

Hi JFMurray

Just checked out your report.
You must have gone at a fair pace.
It takes me a bit longer nowadays to get up and down hills.

Not sure if I would recommend you my route, but it's just an option how I did it, all the 3: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=63580
Definitely not again in a hot day !

Petr.

It was not me on Ben Ledi.
I am only allowed out on the hills one day a week and that day was not one of them.
It must have been some other big handsome man

Thanks for all the replies to my query! Will have a look over these. It looks a long one for this time of year. Might need to either split or leave til next year, will take a close look. Thank you :D

Lovely report and photos   . We walked this route the weekend before you on another glorious autumn day ... I think we must have stood in identical spots to take our photos  . You are right these are amazing hills to experience 360 degrees of the central highlands - when I got home I realised I'd taken over 100 photos ... perhaps that's why I was so slow

Hi Huff n Puff

Glad you had a good day also for your walk. 8)
I certainly took a whole lot of photos also and meandered slowly along the way.
Save the hurried walking for the rainy and windy days :(
