Inspired by Sgurr's efforts here - https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=62760 - and here - https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=99584 - (and another in between) and a dash towards Hall of Famedom I thought that I would have a go at doing the 7 Fife Marilyns in a day.

A pleasant outing it was as well, though the weather did not clear up until much later than forecast. So:

1. Benarty Hill - done the back way. Up into the cloud and mizzle. No view :( Met one person walking his dog.

2. East and West Lomond - from Craigmead car park. East first and then West in the hope that the cloud would lift. No luck, though it did try to lift on the way back from West Lomond. Busy'ish and still mizzling.

3. Cairnie Hill - from the track opposite Woodmill Mains, dodging pheasants. There is a track almost all the way to the top (the latter section not marked on the map) going via pt 222. Met no-one. First view. The Lomonds were still covered but now dry.

4. Norman's Law - from the layby to the north east. Encountered about 10 people. Nice view up and down the Tay. Lomonds briefly cleared.

5. Mount Hill - followed the public footpath from south of The Mount. Circumnavigated the tower and visited the trig. Passed a family group of 6 adults and same number of kids of varying sizes. Trees block any view here.

6. Largo Law - nice counterpoint to another volcanic plug - North Berwick Law - on the other side of the Firth. From the convenient car park between the school and the cemetery in Kirkton of Largo. Short, sharp and sweet.

Then I drove back to Yorkshire
