Set off from the car park about 11am in misty and wet weather, didn’t have much hope for any views at all today. We reached the top of the first Munro in only an hour due to the high altitude car park start. The rain kept falling but we plodded on up the slopes of lawers and as we got up thru the mist the rain suddenly stopped and we were greeted with some amazing views of dozens of peaks around poking thru the mist. It was at this point we spotted a camera crew and Paul murton filming grand tours of Scotland, after a quick chat and a pic we left them to make the most of this break in the weather and we carried on up to the summit! By the time we got there the mist had risen and although we were above it still the views were nothing like they were an hour earlier! Descended via the path around the back thru the valley where the relentless drizzle started again but all in all was a great day out!
