Family walk on the Saturday of the September weekend. Ended up having day trips instead of going away for the weekend this year. Delayed a bit at the Erskine Bridge as the police had closed both ways due to an incident.
Quick toilet break at the Green Welly Stop, as we did on the return, before arriving at the already full car park opposite the Beehive Cairn. Parked a bit further down at the waterfall viewpoint lay-by and started from here.
Glorious day with blue skies, sunshine and a few fluffy white clouds. Quite a wind chill on the ridge but may have been too warm if dead calm. Headed for Stob Dubh first, looks quite dramatic as you approach, then back for Stob Coire Raineach. Busy today with plenty enjoying the conditions.
Split up near the end as daughter & I cut off to avoid the road with wife & son returning via the same outward route. Road was quicker but not the most pleasant route. Cracking views on the drive back down the A82 from Glencoe.
