Lovely walk with Rosemary but a lot longer than stated in the walk description. We had two short detours and walked just over 12 miles not 6.5. We were out 5.5 hours but that included a couple of short stops. Written directions for this walk are not very good and it isn't very well sign posted. Viewranger got us through the woods ok. We found that where to go from the Falls of Foyer was not clear - basically walk down to the bottom view point and keep going. There is a sign directing you but not clear at first. We were not the only ones to be confused, we met others who had walked further than expected and found the directions confusing.
Weather was glorious for November sunny and clear skies. South side so in shade quite a bit. Nice variety of woodland, waterfall and loch. Would do this walk again, probably build in coffee at the cafe near the falls.
