I did this very enjoyable walk on Monday the 9th November 2020, ..this is what I found.. 1. There is two versions of this walk on Walkhighlands, old version has you going across the main stone bridge and left at booth and walking along tarred road. The new version ( quicker) is to go down road at left of shop in car park and follow path round and right to river then cross suspension bridge. At end of paragraph on stage 5 it tells you to turn right at next junction ....I did this first time round and found myself down at tarmac road back to main gate. At junction take the left hand turn not right, and this will take you round to Princess Alice,s cairn after about 25 min walking, carry on from there to Alberts and Beattress cairns.

Hi Drew. We rewalked and updated this route last week, hence the new version. If you can still see the old version of the walk somewhere then please let us know where, as it shouldn't be available anywhere. Thanks for the help!

At end of para 5, there is actually a right turn - you can see it on the 1:25k map under the C of Craig Gowan - and I've got photo notes of each turning which I've double checked. The left turn (that eventually leads to Princess Alice's cairn) is at the start of the next paragraph, so it sounds like you kept right here.
