After a long few days kayaking into climb Ladhar Bheinn, I decided to leave the car at Kinlochhourn and head up Buidhe Bheinn. The forecast was not so good for the day ahead but to be honest, when I left the car things weren't too bad. There was a stiff breeze as I made my way up the hill but no rain had arrived.
Video of adventure :
The hills here are rough and rugged and for me the best feature of this hill were the views back out to Ladhar Bheinn and down Loch Hourn - worth the visit alone.
The first summit was reached in the dry but there is an out and back to gain the main summit of the mountain and as I reached the top, the grey clouds opened up and the rain was on. A rather soggy descent saw me back at the car drenched and packing away ready for a wild camp the next day....
