I underestimated the amount of effort this would take as it looked short in distance and could be done in half a day or less. But it was a wonderful hike all the same affording spectacular views and I'd happily hike it again with a better understanding of the effort required to tackle it.

We did the full circular, returning by walking around the west of the ridge and it was very very muddy in some places, but if doing it as a there and back using the eastern path, then it's a wonderfully maintained trail.
