The August bank holiday weekend in 2019 caught me off guard with its heatwave. I was in the Lakes with some friends for a few days and we decided to hike Coniston Old Man making our way there via Brown Pike, Buck Pike and Dow Crag, coming back via the very touristy copper mines. The heat made this walk so much more exhausting, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
I hope you enjoy the video walk report.
