Parked up at entrance to the estate, just enough room for one car, then walked through the grounds along the track with the castle, Ben Halton and Mor Bheinn in view.

I continued up the track for a kilometre or so then left the track at this point and headed towards the fence line, following it up.

After gaining some height Mor Bheinn comes into view and the fence is left.

Its now a case of finding the best route to the summit.

I then headed down towards the forest, skipping round the side of it and heading for Beinn Deargs ridge.
As the weather was deteriating i found a sheltered spot for lunch.

Thanks JC. Had my eye on these two for quite a while now. I shall revisit this report before tackling them.

Good to see these hills featuring in a report :D . Noticed Mor Bheinn for years having driven past it on the way to other places, but never got round to going up. Got a good look at both of these hills from Glen Artney last June, and they looked pretty good. Definitely on the 'to do' list.

Graeme/Malky

You'll enjoy these two, they're a really good walk. I got a bit of a mixed day, so in good weather i think the views would be superb.

Johnny, you've tagged the wrong Dearg on this report. You've put yourself down for Meall Dearg near Amulree with Mor Bheinn. Now that would be a long walk.
