A simple walk up Carn Mor Dearg on a lovely autumn Sunday. The North Face car park was packed when we arrived but we found the last convenient parking spot and set off. The hill was very busy, we counted over 20 people leaving the summit of CMDto head up the arret, we had no such plans we were looking for a there an back trip to fit with the long drive there and back.

Once we left the main track the path towards Carn Mor Dearg was very boggy.

But the proximity to Ben Nevis made it worth it.

The views west were great too
